Dr. Kaylin Golerkansky is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological assessment and diagnostic evaluation for children, adolescents, and adults. She provides evidence-based, neuro-affirming assessments designed to help individuals and families gain clarity, access appropriate supports, and better understand their unique strengths and challenges.

Dr. Golerkansky has extensive experience evaluating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning differences, social communication challenges, and other neurodevelopmental concerns. Her assessment approach is both thorough and compassionate, integrating clinical interviews, standardized testing, behavioral observations, and collateral information to provide an accurate and meaningful understanding of each individual.

A particular area of expertise of Dr. Golerkansky’s is autism assessment. She has completed advanced training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), which is widely recognized as the gold-standard assessment tool for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder. Drawing upon her years of experience working with autistic and neurodivergent youth, adolescents, and adults, she conducts evaluations that are clinically rigorous while remaining affirming of neurodivergent identities and experiences. Her extensive background in assessment, neurodevelopmental disorders, and evidence-based practice allows her to provide evaluations that are both diagnostically precise and highly individualized.

One of the most valued aspects of Dr. Golerkansky's assessment process is her collaborative feedback session. Rather than simply delivering a diagnosis, she takes time to help clients and families fully understand the results, answer questions, and identify actionable next steps. Feedback sessions include personalized recommendations, school and workplace accommodations when appropriate, treatment planning guidance, and practical resources that help clients translate assessment findings into meaningful support and positive change.

Dr. Golerkansky believes that high-quality psychological assessment should do more than provide answers—it should empower individuals and families with a deeper understanding of themselves and a clear path forward.
